在表示「值得」有三個英文單字很相像且用法也很類似，導致有很多同學在使用上常常搞混，那就是 worth、worthy、worthwhile 這三個單字！
雖然都有「值得」的含意，但在用法上還是有一點不一樣，以下就帶你分門別類搞清楚：
worth (adj.)有...的價值、值得...的
常見用法為 be worth N / Ving
▸The second-hand scooter is worth $10,000 at the most.
▸The museum is worth a visit / visiting.
▸It's worth it. 這很值得
▸You are worth it. 你值得/你應得的
這兩句是普遍口語上會講到的！例如你可能買了一個很貴的東西但它很好用很有價值、CP值很高的時候就可以說「It's worth it.」，還有有同事在工作上做的很努力獲得主管的賞識、獲得升遷就可以對他說「You are worth it.」
worthy (adj.)值得...的、有價值的、值得尊敬的
常見用法為 be worthy of N
▸This article is worthy of more public attention.
▸This young man's behavior is worthy of great praise.
worthwhile (adj.)值得做的、有意義的（用來表示某件事情很值得花時間或金錢去做）
常見用法為 It is worthwhile to V / Ving
▸It is worthwhile to visit the Eiffel tower when you're in Paris.
▸It is worthwhile for the teenagers to participate the event.
