大家都知道櫻花的日文是sakura
但提到櫻花的英文，大家是不是就一頭霧水了啊？

另外，大家是不是有疑問了？
cherry 明明是櫻桃的意思，可是櫻桃花跟櫻花不一樣啊
那是因為 櫻 為李屬植物的統稱，所以在英文方面是用同一個單字喔！
blossom有很多意思，也是在多益中可能會出現的單字：
表示開花：There is no blossom on the cherry trees this year.
表示成長/發展：That small fishing village has now blossomed into an important port.
表示興旺：The Hong Kong film industry blossomed in the early 1960s.
